About the work
Agent benchmarks run inside containers, and a task is only fair if its environment builds the same way every time. We build the Docker images, terminal environments and verifiers that coding and terminal tasks depend on.
How it works
You build and maintain containerised environments for coding and terminal tasks, pin dependencies, and write the scripts that verify a solution. When a build fails or a result changes between runs, you find the cause and fix it so the task becomes repeatable.
Who this is for
DevOps, platform and infrastructure engineers who are at home in Linux and Docker. You enjoy tracking down why something works on one machine and not another, and you write setup steps other engineers can rely on.
What you’ll do
- Build Docker images and terminal environments for coding tasks
- Pin dependencies and remove sources of non-determinism
- Write and maintain verifier scripts and build tooling
- Investigate flaky builds and environment-specific failures
- Document setup steps and environment constraints
Who should apply
- 2+ years of experience with Linux, Docker and shell scripting
- Experience with dependency management across languages
- Familiarity with CI pipelines
- Methodical debugging of build and environment issues
